When I started making soap five years ago I tried many different formulations of oils to make my creations. I quickly realized that one recipe stood far above the rest for it’s gentle cleansing and moisturizing qualities: my Castile recipe made with 100% Olive Oil.
While soaps made with other oils and fats like Shea Butter, Palm Oil and Coconut Oil gave a nice lather they still left parts of me dry. A true Castile bar will only leave you moisturized.

I loved my Castile soap so much I decided to make it the foundation of my business.

Then an amazing thing happened! I discovered an importer of 100% olive oil in my home town of Uxbridge, Ontario. Sarafino Inc. imports olive oil from their family’s estate in Calabria Italy. Olearia San Giorgio is a Gold Medal Winner in the 2011 Olive d’Or Competition.

Tova Naturals is now crafted using only the best, purest olive oil from San Giorgio. Unlike most commercial olive oil brands Olearia San Giorgio contains no “filler” oils such as sunflower oil. Seewww.sarafino.com for more information on this.
