For the first time in Toronto, Tian Winter arrives from Antigua to perform at the Best Fete Forever show alongside Bajan superstar Lil Rock. This Caribbean live music party is happening at the Continental Soirée at 1957 Kennedy Rd., at Progress in Scarborough.
It's all happening this Saturday January 1st, with music by Dr. Jay de soca prince, Loud mout chiney, Junya menace, 2touch, DJ flip, hosted by E-man & Dirty dez. Admission is $10 before 11pm with five or more canned good to be donated to the Daily Bread Food Bank.
Doors open at 10pm. This is a 19+ event; ID is required.

As we near the 2 year anniversary of this party for a purpose series, I can't help but to reflect on what we've accomplished with BFF. Since the very 1st one in March of 2010, we have featured 13 different Soca artists from across the Caribbean and donated just over 4000 pounds of non-perishable food items to the Daily Bread Food Bank. While this is an amazing achievement, we cannot stop now. As the weather gets colder, those in need direct their funds to ensure they have access to housing and towards heat.
